Girlie Weekend!!

(3rd Update)

For a weekend while in Utah I got to have a girl's weekend with my very best girl-friends from growing up in VA. Growing up we were always together, so to help us stay in touch with each other we get to have a girl's weekend every other year. This year there were five girls total who came, but I was just SO happy to see these girls! 

We went up to Park City in Utah, and stayed at Bear Hollow Village, which we had stayed in before, except this time we stayed in a 3 bedroom condo. It was gorgeous! Here are some pics of the condo.

This is the third bedroom, on the other wall was a closet, dresser and a TV. The second bedroom had a queen bed with a closet, dresser and TV.

And THIS..this adorable girl is Kate!!! :) I loved meeting her for the first time, and she was so cute because she remembered all of us from Friday when she came up again on Sat. She liked us!

McBaby came too!!! Actually her name is McKenna, and it was wonderful to see her again!! She is going to be such a heartbreaker when she gets older with those bright blue eyes. Kate loved McKenna too.

Hopefully we can get some more girls in a couple of years, and perhaps it'll be in VA this time, we'll see though. I'm just glad I have such great friends to be able to talk all weekend with, and that's exactly what we did!! We talked SO much, and found out more stories about each other that we didn't know, which seems impossible since we spent so much time with each other. It was so much fun though, thanks girls!!!! Love you all!!! 

Grandma and Poppa's House

(2nd Update)

To continue my "What I Did This Summer" here is what else we did in VA with Grandma and Poppa, and of course Wyatt. :) 

My dad and I decided to take the boys to the Virginia Marine Science Museum. The boys loved it.

Here we are on the day we taught Spencer how to slip 'n' slide. Yep, he never did it before this day. This was his first attempt. Yes, that's how far he slid. Sad, huh?

So Uncle Heath showed us that we could help Spencer slide by pretty much throwing him down there. This is Wyatt taking his turn of throwing.

YEA! He finally made it!!! He loves the slip 'n' slide now.

A quilt my mom made!! It's great huh? It's from the Hungry Caterpillar book by Eric Carle. She made this one for a baby shower.

What I did this summer

(1st Update)

Since school just started this week, I thought it would be perfect to do a "What I did this Past Summer" update, since most teachers make ya do that anyway. Enjoy!

To start our summer off in the States we were able to see Wyatt's All-Star team play. It was awesome! And yes, you did read that right, Wyatt was on the All-Star team!! He's THAT good. 

So we got to my parent's place after a 21 hour flight, went home, showered, and went right back out to Wyatt's game. Jet lag's good for some things I'll say. :)

So the boys wanted to play kickball one day when Wyatt came over, so we all got in on the game. I believe it was Wyatt and Grandpa against Grandma, me, and Spencer. I don't think the teams were even at all! :) Especially since it was Spencer's first time playing.

So we have been having a blast out here in Utah, and I have a billion pictures to share with you all that show the fun we have been having. I will start updating the blog VERY soon.
