Summer 2010-last part

Here is the last part of our Summer vacation.

After Utah we went back to Virginia to see more of the family.
Wyatt and Spencer played A LOT together, they did well at Twister.

We found out while in Utah that Wyatt's Little League baseball team won their District Championship game!!! So they were going to State which was in Abingdon, Virginia, where my dad grew up!

We got back from Utah and had a whole weekend filled with baseball, it was lots of fun!
My dad's brothers and sister came to watch with us. Spencer was liking Aunt Barbara quite a bit, every time he passed by her he wanted to give her a hug. They became fast buddies.
After the first game...a WIN!
Then Spencer and I went out that night with my dad's family. His two brothers and their wives, also his sister on the right end with her husband. It was so much fun to see them all and catch up.
The next day at the ball field. Spencer was surprised by me taking a picture.

Wyatt warming up to pitch in this game, he is such an AWESOME ball player.
I'm going to get him to sign a baseball for me sometime so then I can be rich later on in life when he is a famous Pro ball player. :)
Spencer staring at Wyatt in wonder.
He looks up to Wyatt so much.
Wyatt's fan club!!!! Yep! Here is all 13 of us that were cheering him on!
Putting power behind that swing.
My uncle has his own semi in the driveway, so Poppa took Spencer up there to look at it.
He pulled on the horn cord and it about scared him right out of the truck, it was quite funny. :)
While there, my dad and I went around the cemeteries to find the people who are in our family history, it was very interesting.
This is the house my dad grew up in, and where my Granny used to live. It was so small but could pack the whole family in it on Christmas morning.
My dad's old kingdom...oops, I mean high school.
He was the popular kid here though, into EVERY sport too.
Where he played football.
Wyatt's team warming up to play.
Wyatt's #1 fan, his mom.
that day the team didn't win, but the boys took it well.
This was after they had taken their big group picture.
Wyatt just stayed seated there, and I caught this moment.
The boys were sad that they lost, but soon figured out a way to have fun.
Practice your sliding skills on the side of the hill. :)
Dad and son. Coach and ball player.
After our trip to Abingdon we had a few days back at my parents.
And we had another slip 'n slide to play on!
Spencer kinda relaxed more on this one instead of sliding.
Although him and Wyatt found a new way to make the sliding more fun, between each others legs!
Then Spencer got to eat his fudge-cicle.
Or got to smear it all over his face and chest.
I told him to go wash off, and this is him saying he was all clean.
Man, he looks like skin and bones here...we do feed him I promise!!
Before we left the States to come back to Zimbabwe we had one last exciting adventure!
Spencer lost his first tooth!!! He was thrilled, as you can tell with the crazed eyes he's sporting. :)
Then just a week later he lost ANOTHER tooth!!! He loves this, and that loosing teeth means this "tooth fairy" gives him money for them. What a deal!
That was what we did on our Summer vacation. Next up: Spencer's Birthday!

Summer 2010

Part 3: Nicholes' Family and 4th of July

While in Utah we stayed with Tyler's family and had a blast!
We even got to slip n slide some! Look at Layton's form!! His wife is a ballerina, a darn good one too! So I think he gets his form from her. :)
Spencer going down the slide too.
Spencer swinging. YAY!
Loving his cousin, Tristan.
Visiting my Grandma Rigby. We love seeing her, not only for the GREAT company but also because she loves Fredrico's up in Logan, and so we get to eat that while visiting!
Saw this in Smithfield. A bench that was donated by my ancestors!
the bench.
Pretty Cache Valley!
Every July 4th that I can EVER remember has been up in Lewiston, Utah where my grandparents lived. So what did we do this year? Went right back up there so Spencer could enjoy it too!
530am- Flag raising and saying pledge
6am- breakfast from the Fire Dept (to get the clean tables with not sticky syrup!)
9am- parade!!!!
Here is Spencer sitting next to Uncle Ed getting ready for the parade!
I told Spencer if he waved they would throw lots of candy (which they did!) and then he started waving to the cute girls.
My grandparents house, which is an old LDS church.
Owl in the tree at their house. He is winking at me. :)
Cute Dawson smiling while sleeping in Great-Grandma Rigby's arms.
All Carter wanted to do was play soccer, which he really can play well!
Almost tired of playing soccer.
More slip n slides!!!
Carter getting ready for the kickball game.
Spencer was so excited that we were all playing kickball because he just learned all the rules in school. He was loving it!
Carter and Grandpa Price watching the game.
The cow came over to watch the game too. Austin kept his eye on the cow also.
Fireworks!!!
Everyone watching the fireworks!!

Almost done with our Summer fun photos!!! :)

Summer 2010

Part 2: The Price's!

While in Utah for a month we visited lots of family and friends, and since my brother and his family only live 2 miles away from Tyler's parents house (where we were staying), we were able to enjoy lots of fun times with them! Their kids are dang cute and so funny! We loved hanging out with them, and Spencer loved having a boy cousin to play DS's with! The best thing about seeing them was the new addition to their family, Dawson. He was adorable, and since we were all sick at the beginning of our stay we couldn't hold him much, but by the end I was all better so I held him every chance I could get!

Big brother Carter making Dawson happy.

Dawson being wide-eyed, which this was only when he was two weeks old! And yes, look at the hair on that fellow!! He needed a haircut after just being born, but didn't get one.

Seth and Austin playing, but don't they look SO MUCH alike!

Okay so you have to know a little background about Carter, he is funny, wait no, HILARIOUS! But the thing is, he doesn't even know it! He just is naturally a funny little guy. So I took a regular ol' picture of him then I asked him to do something funny, and this is what he came up with:
see...funny!

Spencer is only 4 months older than Austin, and this time when they got together they had a blast! Spencer is more of a sports going, loud, talkative, activity crazed kinda kid, but also loves video games. While Austin is a quite kid who likes computer games and video games.

So we brought over our DS's in case Spencer and Austin wanted to play. Umm...this is what happened:
I got them from my purse, and they just sat right down and started playing. And EVERY SINGLE TIME they played after that they sat in that same spot! It was crazy. Notice they are even wearing the same kind of outfit?!!? They are meant to be BFFs, I'm sure, because Austin could tame wild Spencer while Spencer could get Austin to be more loud!

Grandma and Grandpa Price came out too, and this is what happened then. Grandpa got the boys and girl with the DS's while Grandma snuggled with baby Dawson.

Again the DS's and being SO enthralled!

Cute brothers.

Fascinated by what is going on, except Carter looks confused.

Yes, this is my brother.
Yes, he is strange sometimes.
Yes, he dances weirdly.
Baby Dawson!

cute little toesies.

blessing day

New PJs from Grandma and Grandpa!!! WHOO-HOO!!!
Now settle down so we can take a good picture.

There we go!

Kaylee can even FLY in her Tinkerbell pjs!
My contribution to Dawson's wardrobe! :) um, he HAS to be stylin'!
Summer of 2010 is ALMOST done....then perhaps we'll find out where we will go next!!!!
