Tyler's parents were able to come out and visit us for a week!! We were so excited about seeing them and having them all to ourselves for such a good amount of time. We tried make sure they had fun and was able to do lots of things they hadn't done before. Which we might have succeeded, they went to a Redskins game, toured the Pentagon, shopped with me, and we took a fun trip to Monticello.
Here is the view that we get once we rode the shuttle up to Thomas Jefferson's home. It is gorgeous there!
The back of the house, after we did the tour. There is just so much information in that house. It's crazy. I do know one thing, Thomas Jefferson invented a lot and was a thinker. Wow.
Another view from Monticello.
The front of the house...or back. It's the back yard so I guess the back.
I love this place.
Preston kinda took off so Spencer was helping him down the stairs.
Family picture!
Thomas Jefferson's grave.
A whole bunch of nickels.
Spencer and Thomas Jefferson. They both look so regal. Don't cha think?
Preston did this with his blanket on the way home. I don't know why, but it was cute.
Trying on grandma's boots.
Silly boy!
While we went shopping with grandma and grandpa he got this new train track, he loves it.
Remember that picture with the other grandpa??? Now here is Preston getting some food from this grandpa...sly one.
It was such a blast to have Tyler's parents come and visit us, and we were all sad to see them go. We definitely wish we lived closer to all of our family.

I went to Monticello on a field trip once. I need to take my kids! It looks like a great adventure! And I remember thinking the same thing about Mr Jefferson! He was a pretty smart guy.
