Disney Cruise- Day 5

St. Thomas day!!!
St. Thomas was beautiful!! It's a part of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and we had a fun time while there.

This was us pulling up to our port.

Today's excursions were divided. Tyler has always wanted to go scuba diving, and we knew I wouldn't be able to, nor would Spencer, so we told him to go and have fun! Spencer and I decided to make it a beach day. Which I was worried about, because we are not big beach people. I'm very faired skinned, and getting burned is something I hate, but I knew Spencer would love it and I could relax.

Tyler was off the ship by 7:45am!!! Spencer and I could take a bit longer and didn't leave the boat until 9:45am, had a 45 minute drive to the beach, and then just started relaxing. I did make sure I got a lounge chair in the shade, and Spencer just started playing in the sand, and in the water, and finding friends. He is such a friend finder, he'll find someone to play with wherever he goes, which is great! The water was calm, and not too many waves, so I felt like it was okay that Spencer was out there by himself. He did great! I think his swimming lessons are giving him the confidence and skills he needs.

I didn't think we got burnt too bad, but sadly we did. We all got some sunburn on our hands and forearms, and I got it on my feet. We got back on the boat by 3:00pm and were starving!! We ordered some room service since Tyler had already gotten back on the boat and eaten. Our all aboard of when the ship was leaving was early today because we had to get going to get to our next port on time.

Here we are leaving beautiful St. Thomas.

 Out to sea.

We took showers and got cleaned up for dinner, and after dinner Spencer wanted to go to the kid's area to find his new friend he had on the beach. So he went there, I got ready for bed and relaxed and started the aloe vera on my feet. Tyler went and got Spencer and off to bed we went.

Oh yes, and after dinner we had a new animal!! An elephant!

Darn that Sun. Sorry about the burn. Glad Tyler could go scuba diving. I think even if I wasn't pregnant like you, I'd still prefer a relaxing day on the beach over scuba diving. :)

I always like room service. I was wondering if they offered that. That elephant was so neat. How do they get it to hold its shape?
